Mean Published Earnings

All GP practices are required to declare mean earnings ( i.e average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.

This is for 3 full-time GPs and 2 part-time GPs who worked in the practice for more than six months.


The average pay for GPs working in the practice of Oakwood Medical Centre in the last financial year (16/17) was £38,941 before tax and National Insurance. 

This is for 3 full-time GPs, 3 part-time GP’s and 2 locum GPs who worked in the practice for more than six months. 


The average pay for GP’s working in Oakwood Medical Centre in the last financial year (17/18) was £55,392 before tax and national insurance. This is for two full-time GP’s and three part-time GP’s who worked in the practice for more than six months. 


The average pay for GP’s working in Oakwood Medical Centre in the last financial year (18/19) was £47,514 before tax and National Insurance. This was for two full-time GP’s, four part-time GPs and one fixed-term Gp who worked at the practice for more than six months. 


The average pay for GP’s working in Oakwood Medical Centre in the last financial year (19/20) was £42,256 before tax and national insurance.  This is for 4 full-time GPs, 3 part-time GPs and 2 locum GPs who worked in the practice for more than 6 months.

The average pay for GPs working in the practice of Oakwood Medical Centre in the last financial year (20/21) was £65,983 before tax and National Insurance. This is for 1 full time GPs and 6 part time GPs who worked in the practice for more than six months
